We Need Your Help

In the early 1990's, the elders of Azalea City Church of Christ, along with some amazing Christian ladies, made the decision to start a daycare as a ministry to the community. By 1995, the church had partnered with Mobile Christian School in an effort to expand it's already growing preschool, creating the Mobile Christian School-Semmes Campus. The objective of the school has always been to educate and nurture children in the love of Jesus Christ and to prepare its students for their elementary education.

Over time, we separated from Mobile Christian and once again became a ministry of Azalea City Church of Christ. The name then changed to Azalea City Christian School and Child Development Center.

Although the name has changed, our goals have not. The mission of the school is still to educate students through Christ centered principles.

Today, we are excited to still be offering the same quality of love and service to this community as we have for over 30 years. We are also incredibly blessed to still be a much-loved ministry of Azalea City Church of Christ, who over the years have supported us spiritually as well as financially. We truly would not exist to fulfill our mission without their support.

Over the last few months, we have seen some changes at the school. We have a new management team and we are in the process of updating our classrooms and improving our educational materials. We are blessed to have seen an increase in our admissions, as well. This is exciting as we know that every new student means one more family to whom we can demonstrate God's love.

We have so many positive things happening here at ACCS! That being said, our playground desperately needs to be upgraded. Outdoor play is vitally important for a child's development. It helps improve physical strength and health, inspires creativity, and nurtures their critical thinking skills. All of these characteristics are very important for a preschool to develop in its students. For these reasons, we have decided to reach out to our friends, family, and community for assistance.

Naturally, the most crucial need that we have is financial assistance. If you are able, there are a couple of ways that you can help. You can give a one-time donation or set up a monthly gift. If you wish to help in any way please email or call the school to be sent a donation form.

Additionally, we have set up a registry on Amazon for those who would like to purchase supplies for educational centers or even much needed toys. Any way that you can help would be greatly appreciated.
