Ministry is far more than a job or a Sunday routine—it's a profound privilege to be chosen and used by Jesus.

Serving and nurturing children is an extraordinary calling, and for over 20 years, our directors have been dedicated to this mission on the Gulf Coast and beyond. Both Tina and Shelley have deep roots in the Church of Christ. Their commitment to children's ministry is a testament to their faith and dedication. Tina has an extensive background in children's education and ministry. She has taught bilingual toddler Sunday school and has been a leader in children's Bible ministry. Tina has also homeschooled her three children and has experience with foster children, including some who were victims of abuse. Currently, she is a proud grandparent of three, including a child with autism. Shelley has a rich history of working with children as well. While working at ACCS she served as a nanny for many families in the Mobile area. By 2015, Shelley transitioned to the administrative side of the daycare, where she now serves as the assistant director. Her commitment to children's Bible ministry has also led her on mission trips around the world, including Ukraine, Jamaica, and Guyana. Both Tina and Shelley exemplify the true spirit of ministry through their unwavering dedication and impactful service to children, families, but most importantly the Lord.
